Lara was born with the desire to create running through her veins, a second generation jeweller and retailer, from a very young age Lara started training under the watchful eye of her talented father.
Lara further refined her skills by studying Jewellery Manufacturing and Design at QLD Tafe and completed her Fine Arts Degree in Gold, Silversmithing and Design at the QLD College of Art. Still not satisfied, Lara headed to the USA and studied specialised stone setting and traditional hand engraving. With 3 trades under her belt before the age of 30 (not easy in a traditionally male dominated industry) it was time for Lara to have her name up in lights!
Lara returned to Australia and founded Love Lara Jewellers in the gorgeous seaside suburb of Burleigh on the Gold Coast and in 2019 will celebrate 10 years in her store. Lara’s designs are admired and enjoyed by people locally and around the world.. Lara’s hard work and dedication has not gone unrecognised, with Love Lara Jewellers winning the 2018 Brides Choice Awards for Gold Coast and Hinterland, competing against a very tough field of multi national and international Jewellers.

Along with stocking a wide range of jewellery, Love Lara Jewellers offers a variety of services including: Custom made jewellery, Remodelling, hand engraving, pearl and bead threading, stone polishing, stone setting and all jewellery repairs including rhodium plating, ring resizing, chain and bracelet repairs and more.
Our trained staff can also complete minor jewellery and watch repairs, including battery and watch band replacement and jewellery polishing in-store.
We use a Master Watchmaker for more complex watch repairs and can service all watches including premium brands.
We offer Jewellery Valuations by a fully Registered Valuer who is a Member of the Australian Association of Jewellery Valuers.
